3 Concepts Art School Can't Teach

In today's video, I want to share with you the three concepts that art school cannot teach you. School can inspire you and help your artistic path in many ways. However some concepts you must discover and nurture for yourself. Allow me to reveal these concepts.

Style

This is similar to your handwriting. Your style is how you create, it is unique to you. A style is a visual library that identifies your work.

Voice

Your artistic voice is the message behind the artwork. Why do you create? What’s your purpose? What’s the meaning?

Passion/Discipline

Passion is the desire to create. Discipline is the fuel and energy that keeps you creating. You have it or you don't.

As I mentioned above school cannot enforce these topics on you. You can be nurtured and inspired. However, it takes practice, self-discipline, and discovery to uncover these concepts for yourself.
