Vanessa and the Flightless Dragon is a chapter book series for children. Our story begins in Brighton where we meet our leading lady, Vanessa. She is a local blacksmith in the village. Vanessa embarks on a journey to help save the ailing Prince. In her travels, she encounters a wingless dragon who takes her on an epic adventure. At the heart of the story is friendship and what it means to be an active bystander. It's a lesson on how to stand up for others who may not be able to stand up for themselves. Sometimes in life, it's not a hero that we need, it's a true friend.
